Kidnapped in the Killing Fields
Landmine clearance specialist Chris Moon and two of his colleagues are ambushed as they work to rid the Cambodian countryside of the deadly remnants of civil war. They are kidnapped by Khmer Rouge guerrillas, the bloodthirsty killers who created the 'killing fields'.
Chris plays a risky but astonishingly assured psychological game with his captors and manages to avoid instant execution. After playing for time, Chris and his colleagues are handed to another Khmer gang, with neither seeming to want to take responsibility for killing them.
Finally and against all the odds they makes it back to civilisation. Some years later on a mine-clearing mission in Mozambique, Chris is not so lucky, when he steps on a live mine, his life is blown apart literally.
